0:00-0:07… how amazing is that?
I so firmly and emotionally believe that this clip is one of the best movie moments of all time. This movie is flawless.

When I was making those rolo cookies the other day I had the hardest time “sprinkling” the powdered sugar. This is the answer, right?
This is neato because it’s my vision for my L&L outfit. That dress and that color nails. I think it’s actually the exact same dress, except I’m going to wear tights.

It was like that class at school where the teacher talks about Realization, about how you could realize something big in a commonplace thing. The example he gave—and the liar said it really happened—was that once while drinking orange juice, he’d realized he would be dead someday. He wondered if we, his students, had had similar ‘realizations.’
Is he kidding? I thought.
Once I cashed a paycheck and I realized it wasn’t enough.
Once I had food poisoning, and realized I was trapped inside my body.
I got out of HPU Alpha Chi interviews today with just enough time to locate and track down a Sonic for happy hour. Woo!
During the scenic route back to Greensboro, I decided on a whim to get my nails “shellac-ed,” a new (?) nail craze. I’ve had my nails down professionally like twice in my whole life, and while I think they do look pretty, I was pretty unimpressed with the cost. I’ll get back to you with a more concrete opinion after I see how long they last.
Happy Wednesday!
Devil’s food cake Rolo cookies!
My wonderful friend Caitlin made these cookies yesterday and so graciously let me try one last night. The recipe was, of course, found on Pinterest. Needless to say, they were so amazing that I had to go out tonight (after $1 Taco night, naturally) and grab the ingredients for them.
Best part? They are literally SO SIMPLE to make. It took about 5 minutes to create the mix, and they only need to bake for 7-8 minutes. The hardest part was unwrapping all the babii Rolos.
Try them, you won’t be disappointed. John and I have both had 2 and a half already.
