y’all I don’t even want to be like this, BUT I AM SO CRAZY IN LOVE WITH THIS GUY. I’m very very lucky.
(that’s all, and I promise I’ll never do it again!)

Devil’s food cake Rolo cookies!
My wonderful friend Caitlin made these cookies yesterday and so graciously let me try one last night. The recipe was, of course, found on Pinterest. Needless to say, they were so amazing that I had to go out tonight (after $1 Taco night, naturally) and grab the ingredients for them.
Best part? They are literally SO SIMPLE to make. It took about 5 minutes to create the mix, and they only need to bake for 7-8 minutes. The hardest part was unwrapping all the babii Rolos.
Try them, you won’t be disappointed. John and I have both had 2 and a half already.

I am exciteeeeee about the Hanson Valentine’s Day merchandise, but does this shirt remind anyone else of Hollister/American Eagle? I get the concept, but I’m not a fan. The ‘Kiss Me When You Come Home’ shirt is also not doing it for me.
but gimme dat gourmet choc (COUGH, John Chester)

“I’ll be thinking of youuuuu the whole timeeee”

GPOY: Spare Change Chronicles continued
TODAY WAS THE DAY. After a couple months of collecting spare change, John and I grabbed the cupcake and took it to the bank to see how many moniez we had acquired. The grand total was $38.57! I’m glad it was that amount because I guessed it would be between $30 and $40, and John guessed it would be between $40 and $50. I win. Now it is date time! :)

Last Christmas my mom bought these three reindeer piggy banks for the three of us, and she has been dropping change in them for the entire year, always sending us cute text messages whenever she put in anything more than $5. Last night we got to open them! It was a lot of fun and the grand total turned out to be more than $100. Last Christmas my mom said we could use the money to help buy our presents this year, or we could just keep it for ourselves. Time to go Christmas shopping :)
